SXE01 — Smoke and Mirrors

Don’t call it a comeback, we’ve been here for years! 10 years, would you believe? It feels like just yesterday. Season X launches with a bumper edition of HDFM with Ollie & Matt (or Miyabi & Kittiah – their upside-down altiverse stagenames) effortlessly gliding back into the perennial podcasting pilots seats for well over 4 hours of retrospective analysis of their respective hiatus-bolstered record bags. Huge thanks to all you HDFM veterans for turning out in force to make this show what it always was meant to be – for true listeners. New to the show? Hope you stick around! S05E05 — Any jungle in, guy?

This is show five, despite what Matt thinks, and however many times we call this “show six” it is, infact, show five. It’s hard to keep count when the shows are two weeks apart. But do not be deceived. This is 4 full-on hours of classic harddrive action, spanning the genres in intergalactic planetary style as Senji joins us in the studio once more to bang out a fully fledged playlist from the eclectic spectrum. Next show (April 5th 2013) we’ll have Ani on board and a full complement of hosts to guide you into the weekend. Don’t miss it.

S05E03 — Fear of Fours

The lovely Senji joins us this show for a curveball of a show where we take things down a notch for a curiously subdued foray into our own personal favourite musical stylings. From swing-step to spoken word, indie rock to IDM, we’ve got you mashed-up, mixed, remixed and covered. Join us for the next show Friday March 8th 2013 20:00 GMT!!

S05E02 — Random Article

USS Wyoming (BB-32), the lead ship of her class of battleship, was the third ship of the United States Navy named Wyoming, although it was only the second named in honor of the 44th state. This is a test. Does anyone actually read these? Or can I get away with posting random wikipedia article first-paragraphs for the rest of Season 5? Find out on show 3 at end of this week: Friday February 22nd 2013 20:00 GMT!

S03E10 — Counter-Wank

Just goes to show, too much beer is almost enough. An absolutely stonking near-5-hours of harddrive.fm action! “Best Show Yet” – The Unconfirmable Source, “Five Stars” – Self-Aggrandizing Weekly. All you need to know is: Terrorists Win.

S03E09 — With No Trivia

Blasting off from our new lounge-based studio, Kittiah’s got the sniffles but we still have the tunes. True eclecticism, plenty of multideck IDM hiphop and our trademark delivery of disgusting filth to keep you bopping for four hours of oldskool hdfm.

dubsnep @ Corsica Studios

Live set from MorganFace, Jan 23rd 2010 at Corsica Studios, Elephant and Castle, London UK. Great at the start, shabby towards the end! Will Do Better Next Time™. Also think it’s a bit clippy. Damn you, analogue recording methods.

S02E15 — Show!

Show! Always the phattest – quality over quantity, show! At Show, we’re always the phattest because all of our tunes are selected by kidnapped A-list DJs working in countries you’ll never visit! And if you’re totally brassic, cheer up, numb-nuts, the ‘phat-as-fuck’ mega-show is now playing! Listen now, pay nothing for eleven years! YES! Eleven years! So download now – Show! We put awesome tunes into podcasts so you don’t have to!

S02E13 — Fuckin’ A

Show thirteen arrives with admirable alacrity, applying ample atonement to aching aural attachments with astonishing accuracy. All ailments attacked at-speed with A-list tracks, augmented arrestingly with agonizing alcoholic articulation. Awesome.

S02E11 — Digital Knob

We return after an unexpected two-week absence (blame Kittiah) to deliver 4 hours of solid tracks of general awesomeness that will leave you gagging for more. Excellent and dodgy vocoding, anatomy of a typical Chicane track and a 7-track dancetastic electro-house marathon. Just as well we’re back next week. One knob~

S02E09 — And I’m feelin’ good

Tonight was a dream come true. The beer flowed, the music flowed, the mixing was ace and the vibe was tight. 4 hours of top dance hip-hop dubstep breaks drum and bass and oh my god! We’re not here next week, so take this offering and cherish it like a newborn. We love you all, peace <3

Send us music with DropBox

You may remember last season we had ‘incoming’, the segment where you sent us your tunes over email and we didn’t play them. Well, we’ve changed the way to submit tracks, now – using DropBox. Once you’re signed up, send us an email here at studio@harddrive.fm and we’ll add you to the shared folder.

S02E05 — We’re Not In Toto Any More…

Dance themed and action packed, sail through 4 and a bit-more hours of seriously filthy breaks, upbeat trumpet melodies and Kittiah’s mother celebrating her spawn’s much exalted quarter-century tidal wave of ageular dystrophy. Look, I’m quite drunk, it’s late, and I’ve been listening to the filthiest dubstep mix I’ve ever heard. Give me a break.

S02E04 — Four to the Floor

The music tonight was pretty fucking awesome. Some minor operational glitches marred an otherwise legendary performance. 4 and more hours of phat tunes, broken beats, drums, basses and a whole lot more besides. Just be glad we didn’t record the after-show auto-tune extravaganza. Much love.
